Lisa Raymond and Sam Stosur

Raymond & Stosur Continue Doubles Domination

Top seeds Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur continue to dominate the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour doubles court, winning the BNP Paribas Open title without dropping a set. The duo defeated Virginia Ruano Pascual and Meghann Shaughnessy 6-2, 7-5 in Sunday's final.

Raymond and Sosur have won eight titles since joining forces at last year's US Open, including the US Open, the 2005 Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Championships and Tier I titles in Moscow, Tokyo and now Indian Wells.

Raymond/Stosur rallied from 2-5 in the second set to win the last five games of the match. Raymond saved one break point on her serve at 6-5 with a crisp backhand volley winner that split Ruano Pascual and Shaughnessy and soon after closed out the match on her third match point.

Ruano Pascual, the owner of 34 career doubles titles, and Shaughnessy were playing just their second tournament together.
